School Board Manual is a practical guide for the roles and responsibilities of school boards in Macedonian schools. Primarily it is prepared for all members of the school boards. However it is a useful source of information for all stakeholders in school governance and management. The Manual was prepared by the Task Force.

Task Force members are Divna Sipovik, Gule Gulev, George Nikolov, Vesna Horvatovik, Ankica Vitanova, Vesna Arsovska, Daniela Adamova Zaharieva, Stanka Angelova, Sonja Ristovska, Gordana Tasevska, Aneta Jovanoska and Fidancho Ilievski. Sаmuel Benalal and Metodija Stojanovski worked with the Task Force as consultants in the field of school governance and management.

SEA project is placing the School Board Manual for public discussion. Please send your remarks, comments and suggestions for improvement of the Manual on the following e-mail address: sea@sea.org.mk  All comments received by June 13th, 2008, will be taken in consideration in the final version of the Manual.

 
 Director Certification  Teacher Development
DCPThe goal of this component is to improve professional competencies of school directors through initiation of Certification Program.
TDPThe teacher development component of the SEA project aims to instruct vocational teachers in the use of contextual learning methodologies, and to encourage the use of these methods in the classroom.
 Career Development Program  Research, Monitoring and Evaluation
CDPThe goal of SEA's career development activities is to help better prepare secondary vocational students for employment. Working in fifty vocational schools across the country, SEA is helping schools increase and improve the practical, business-related experiences open to students.
RMEResearch, monitoring and evaluation (RME) play a critical role throughout the life of a project. RME activities provide essential information and feedback for effect and responsive project management.

  School Board Support

This is a  SEA component with  primary objective  to assist school boards cope with their new tasks and responsibilities due to decentralization.  Activities of the component are focused on strengthening school boards in dealing with their new roles in conditions of decentralization.
