Teacher Trainers Qualification
The purpose of providing a Teacher Trainers Qualification is to:
Provide evidence that a teacher has demonstrated his/her ability to use the teaching methods disseminated by the project.
Provide evidence that the project has effectively disseminated new methods.
The following procedure would lead to qualification:
5.1. CLASSROOM OBSERVATION-
- School pedagogue/principal will observe classes to confirm successful teaching, using the classroom observation template (one observation per module- totally 4 observations)
- Regional Consultants will monitor to confirm successful teaching, using the classroom observation template
- Regional consultants will report to SEA Office on a regular meetings
5.2. SAMPLES OF LESSON PLANS and SAMPLES OF STUDENTS WORKS
- Each teacher will submit lesson plan that follows the format for lesson planning discussed during the workshops to school pedagogue for at least one method per each module and few most attractive students work)
- Regional consultants can review these prepared teacher’s portfolio during the school visits
5.3. REFLECTION QUESTIONNAIRE
- Each teacher should fill the questionnaire prepared by SEA Office and submit it to the school pedagogue and/or principal
- School principal and regional consultant will review the questionnaire
5.3.1. Reflection questionare
Describe how the participation in these workshops changed/influenced your ideas of teaching.
What qualities you possess that makes you an effective teacher?
What goals do you have for your school as a result of this program?
What obstacles do you expect to meet during the implementation of the program?
How can you overcome these obstacles?
5.4. LETTER OF ENDORSMENT FROM SHOOL PEDAGOGUE/PRINCIPAL
- The school principal, based on the successfully accomplished above mentioned steps will prepare letter of recommendation that will propose certification of the teacher as a Teacher Trainer.
5.5. FINAL DECISSION ON ENDORSMENT OF TEACHER TRAINERS
- The final decision will be made based on teachers portfolio during a meeting between the teacher, school pedagogue/principal and regional consultant.
